This November, Hounslow Community FoodBox has launched its ‘Remember November’ campaign for 2023.

The local foodbank charity says that at this time of year many people are struggling and having to make difficult financial choices.

The campaign first launched last year with the ambitious target of £11,000. However, thanks to the generosity of individuals and organisations throughout the borough, £13,000 was raised.

This year, anticipating an even greater need for food, toiletries and household items, the target is again set for £11,000. Volunteers are distributing posters and leaflets throughout the borough - look out for them in shops, pubs and clubs.

People are encouraged to donate either online or by scanning the QR code on the leaflets.

Hounslow Community Foodbox collects food parcel donations at the Rose Community Centre in Brentford ((TW8 8NT).

This site remains committed to providing local community news and public interest journalism.

Articles such as the one above are integral to what we do. We aim to feature as much as possible on local societies, charities based in the area, fundraising efforts by residents, community-based initiatives and even helping people find missing pets.

If neither of these amounts is suitable for you then contact info@neighbournet.com and we can set up an alternative. All payments are made through a secure web site.

One-off donations are also appreciated. Choose The Amount You Wish To Contribute.
