Hammersmith’s iconic River Cafe has launched its own smaller cafe, on the adjacent east side of its home in Thames Wharf.
The River Cafe Cafe is now open, with an outdoor terrace alongside its riverfront site, offering an all-day menu on a no booking ‘walk-ins only’ basis.
The River Cafe, famous for its ever-changing Italian menu, says the cafe has its own separate menu prepared by the restaurant’s chefs.
At breakfast this includes River Café’s home made brioche and cakes along with fresh fruits such as strawberries, melon and peaches.
The all-day menu includes plates of prosciutto and mozzarella, alongside seasonal vegetables like zucchini and grilled peppers.
Ice cream coupes specials and River Café desserts are served all day, and pastries, ice creams and coffee are available to take away.
In the evenings, aperitivos, non-alcoholic cocktails and wines by the glass are on offer, served with homemade crisps and Italian olives.

The River Cafe Cafe, off Rainville Road, is open on Tuesday till Saturday from 9am till 10pm and on Sunday from 9am till 4pm.
