In anticipation of the highest ever demand for its services, Hounslow FoodBox has launched its its Christmas campaign – Remember November.

During this month the FoodBox has set the ambitious target of raising £11,000 – representing the 11th month of the year – to provide funds to meet increasing need for food, toiletries and household items.

Volunteers are distributing posters and leaflets throughout the borough which they hope will encourage people to donate either via its Just Giving page or by scanning the QR code on the leaflets.

Hounslow Community FoodBox supports local residents in a time of need with essential food supplies. Whilst emergency food can’t solve poverty, it can provide a lifeline while other issues in people’s lives are being addressed.

This site remains committed to providing local community news and public interest journalism.

Articles such as the one above are integral to what we do. We aim to feature as much as possible on local societies, charities based in the area, fundraising efforts by residents, community-based initiatives and even helping people find missing pets.

If neither of these amounts is suitable for you then contact info@neighbournet.com and we can set up an alternative. All payments are made through a secure web site.

One-off donations are also appreciated. Choose The Amount You Wish To Contribute.
