A casting company is urgently searching for two Afghan boys to star in "The Kite Runner ", based on the novel by Khaled Hosseini and directed by Marc Forster ("Finding Neverland".) They are looking for two AFGHAN, FLUENT DARI speaking boys for the role of Amir (should look 11-12 yrs old, sensitive and intelligent) and Hassan (should look 9-10 yrs old, the son of Amir's servant, a Hazara.) These are lead roles but the children do not need to have had previous experience.

They will be holding one final open audition at Ealing Film Studios on Saturday 24th June. Any family who thinks their son is suitable and they have not met should come along at any time between 2-6pm (the earlier the better) to meet the casting company for an informal chat.
