Water Supply Hit at Thousands of Homes in Ealing and Acton | |||||
Residents had now water or low pressure for part of the morning
Problems with the water supply across Ealing Borough hit residents this Thursday morning (3 January) leaving thousands with no water or low pressure. Thames Water say that there was an issue in the area due to a problem with their Ealing boosters. This affected homes across Acton, Hanwell, West Ealing, Southall, Greenford, Perivale and Northolt. Specialist engineers had to be called out to deal with the problem. At 9.55am they issued an update saying that they had reset their boosters and that water supply should be back to normal however you may experience low pressure or cloudy water over the next couple of hours. Thames say this is normal and safe to drink. If your water supply is not back to normal by 2pm, you can call Thames Water on 0800 316 9800 and they say they’ll be able to help. January 3, 2019
