Police are appealling for witnesses following an accident on the North Circular last Friday, September 3rd at
11.15 am.

 

The accident happened near the Hangar Road gyratory, when a yellow Suzuki 600 motorcycle travelling west towards Hangar Lane collided with a silver BMW. The male rider and pillion passenger were thrown into the path of another motorcycle – a red, white and blue Honda fireblade 1000.

 

The rider of the Suzuki was taken to Central Middlesex hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. He was named as Liam Donahoe, a 22 year old man from Wembley. The pillion passenger has been taken to hospital whilst the other motorcyclist escaped with superficial injuries and was treated at the scene. 

 

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident. Anyone with any information is asked to call AIU at Alperton on 0208 9985319 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if they wish to remain anonymous. The officer in charge is Sergeant Andy Nelson.
