On Friday 22nd July at 12.30pm, two teenage girls were waiting at the bus stop outside the Express Pub near to Kew Bridge Station.  On their way home from a shopping trip in Richmond, they were about to change buses when they were beckoned to by a female youth.  Assuming the suspect wanted a light for her cigarette, the girls went over to her.  The suspect then informed them that they must come with her and not make a sound.  They were warned that if they didn't co-operate, they would be stabbed.

The two victims, aged 17 and 16, were taken by the girl and her male accomplice across the busy junction into Lionel Road South were they were threatened with a glass bottle and robbed of all their belongings.  The suspects made off in the direction of Brentford Leisure Centre leaving their victims very shaken by their experience.

Amongst the items stolen were Samsung A800 and Samsung E700 flip camera mobile phones, £13 in cash and a Creative Rumba worth around £200.

The female suspect is described as 16 years old, pale shade of black, skinny with short afro hair which was possibly in a bun and wearing a grey tracksuit.  The male suspect is described as 18 years old, dark black skin wearing a navy hooded top pulled tightly against his head and navy tracksuit bottoms.
