Caroline Holmes to give The Arts Society Chiswick's January Lecture
January 7, 2023 The Arts Society Chiswick starts the New Year with garden historian Caroline Holmes giving a talk about the Majorelle Garden in Marrakech. The lecture has two parts entitled “A Symphony in Blue – The Artist, the Couturier and “Atlas, the Most Fabulous Mountaine of all Africke” . After extensive travels in the Atlas Mountains, Jacques Majorelle was inspired to create glorious blue dominated canvases and a garden in Marrakech.
