A Council Spokesperson said today that Ealing Council is working hard to return all collections to normal as soon as possible.

"To ensure no residents miss out on collections this week the Council has now had to switch to a bank holiday schedule, so refuse and recycling will be collected the day after the normal collection day."

This means that Wednesday collections are taking place on Thursday, and so on.

The Spokesperson added: "Collections will also take place on Saturday this week to allow the service to return to normal next week."
