Man Shot Dead in West Kensington Named | |
29-year-old Maximillian Kusi-Owusu gunned down in early hours of Sunday A 29-year-old man has been shot dead in West Kensington in the early hours of Sunday morning (4 September). Residents of a nearby apartment block by Kensington High Street reported hearing multiple shots at around 2.02am. When the police arrived they found the victim, Maximillian Kusi-Owusu, with gunshot wounds and treated him until the arrival of the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance. He was then transferred to a major trauma centre but was pronounced dead a few hours later. His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. The police have set up a cordon around the area of the shooting and were seen towing away a dark SUV. Homicide detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command have arrested a 29-year-old man on suspicion of murder and he remains in police custody.
