Uruguayan diplomat Enrique Facelli accused of stabbing LGBT activist
Police investigating the fatal stabbing of Julian Aubrey in West Kensington have charged Enrique Facelli, 48, with his murder. Facelli, who was a neighbour of Mr Aubrey's in Shaftesbury Place, Warwick Road in W14 appeared in custody at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Thursday, 1 March. It has emerged that he is the former cultural attache to the Uruguayan Embassy in London. At the time, Detective Chief Inspector Luke Marks of Homicide and Major Crime Command appeal for help finding out "why Julian was targeted in his own home in such a violent way." Mr Aubrey was a prominent local LGBT activist, who worked with victims of sexual abuse and was also a former head of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea LGBT liaison group. Four other men who were arrested on suspicion of murder remain released under investigation. March 6, 2018
