Double Stabbing near Kings Mall | |||
Two attacked near crowds of shoppers
Two men were rushed to hospital after they were stabbed in broad daylight yards from a busy shopping centre. The unnamed pair, aged 29 and 36, were taken to a West London hospital by ambulance where they are in a stable condition. The attack happened at 4pm on Monday 11th February on Bridge Avenue in Hammersmith, near the Kings Mall Shopping Centre. A spokesman for Scotland Yard said: "The stabbings are related, I do not know if anyone else was involved. Officers at the moment are speaking to witnesses. It is near to a Primark and close to a shopping centre, there were probably kids around after school and people shopping who saw what happened." No one has been arrested in connection with the attack and police do not have a motive. Police are appealing for any witnesses to call Hammersmith and Fulham CID on 020 8246 2405 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. February 22, 2008
