Mayor Ken Livingstone will be making a visit to Acton next month giving local people a chance to ask him in person questions on matters of local importance.

The 'People's Question Time' will take place on Thursday 11 November 2004, 7pm to 9pm at the Acton Assembly Hall, Acton High Street, Acton, W3 6NE.

These sessions happen twice a year across London. The three main issues it will focus on this time are policing and safety, transport and environment. There will be an opportunity at the end to raise other issues not already discussed. Each section will be allocated approximately 20 minutes.

If you would like to put a question to the Mayor or London Assembly at this meeting, fill out the online form or email it to Some questions submitted in advance will be asked on the night. If your question is not asked on the night, you will receive a written reply within six weeks.

The meeting will be chaired by Richard Barnes the local GLA assembly member.
