Big Rankings Leap for University of West London | ||||||
Now rated one of the top forty universities in the country
The University of West London (UWL) has climbed 23 places to become one of the top 40 universities in the UK according to the latest Guardian University Guide. The guide ranked UWL 34th out of 121 universities in the UK. It has also been rated as the best university in London for overall satisfaction. The institution wants to be known as the Career University because of its industry-focused courses and successful employment rates of its graduates. Professor Peter John, Vice-Chancellor of UWL said, “The secret to our success is that we listen. We listen to our students so that we can deliver on the things that matter to them such as great teaching, excellent student services and a wide range of extra-curricular activities. “But we also listen to the needs of employers so that we can ensure our students have the skills they need to build a successful career and help our economy grow.” In June, UWL jumped 13 places in the Complete University Guide and recorded the biggest rise of any university in the UK in the The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2020.
