There are 253 candidates who are hoping for your vote on May 22nd for 69 seats on the council.

Three councillors get elected for each of the borough’s 23 wards and serve for four years.

When confronted with the ballot paper how do you make your decision?

In a bid to get to know some of the people standing in the 2014 election Ealing Today offered candidates the opportunity to write about themselves and the main issues in their ward.

We are publishing ones that have been received so far.

The full list of candidates can be viewed here and outside the Electoral Services Office, Ealing Town Hall, Ealing, W5 2BY.

If you are a candidate and want to take part in this series please contact editor@ealingtoday.co.uk before next Wednesday (21st May).
