Users of East Acton to West Ruislip and Ealing Broadway Central line stations are invited to a British Transport Police (BTP) meeting on Wednesday 9th September to talk about crime and safety issues in the area.

BTP’s Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) will be holding a Police and Communities Together meeting from 11:00am in the Greenford London Underground Station, Oldfield Lane, Greenford.

Members of the public are invited to the discussion which will be attended by BTP, Metropolitan Police and also London Underground managers.

BTP PCSO Dean Rivett said:

“Policing the Tube is a constant challenge and we encourage people to come along to the meeting and raise any issues or concerns they may have in relation to crime and safety on the Tube network.”

“These informal meetings are a great opportunity for passengers to talk directly with officers and provide the Neighbourhood Policing teams with invaluable feedback.”

“In order for us to focus our efforts on the issues that matter most to the local community it is really useful to have contributions from a cross section of users including local organisations, rail staff and passengers are invited.”
