London Buses are introducing a new Sunday service on the 607 express route, which runs through Ealing - from White City to Uxbridge.

The route currently has no service on Sundays or public holidays, but from 11 April 2010, a service will run every 12 minutes from around 9am until around 10pm.

Extra journeys on route 607 will also be introduced at the busiest times on weekdays from 12 April 2010.

John Barry, Head of Network Development for London Buses, said, "London's bus network is constantly under review to ensure we continue to provide the best possible service for our passengers.

"The introduction of a Sunday service on route 607 will provide passengers with better bus services when travelling around west London."

The 607 first started running in 1990 and was given the number '607' after the trolley bus that used to run along the same route.
