After local artist Matoo donates a print for waiting room wall
Colour returned to patients of West Middlesex University Hospital after the patient affairs waiting room received a generous donation of a watercolour print from local artist Matoo. Matoo is one of the regular traders who come to the hospital, selling his prints in the atrium. Last year he donated one of his sketches to West Middlesex and his second donation has been attracting attention from visitors to the patient affairs office. Chris Lewis, patient affairs manager, said, “A number of people have commented on the print, which certainly invokes interest. It helps brighten the waiting area.” Matoo said, “The print show the planets of our solar system, with the Earth at the bottom supporting them all. I am pleased that my work is benefiting my local hospital.” March 27, 2008 |
