Train and tube services affected by engineering works
If you are planning to travel over the next few weekends the following lines are affected by engineering works.
London Underground have had to take some Piccadilly line trains out of service to repair their wheels, which means that they do not have a full fleet available. Therefore, a reduced service is operating on the Piccadilly line. Allow extra time for your journey or consider using other routes.
Sunday 4 December Line Closures Between Clapham Junction and Richmond/Kew Bridge Some lines between London Waterloo and Clapham Junction, also all lines in the Barnes area will be closed all day Sunday for track maintenance and work on Barnes station. Part of London Waterloo station will also be closed and many trains will leave London Waterloo from different platforms to normal - please check displays at station. All South West Trains services will use platforms 5-8 at Vauxhall and 7-11 at Clapham Junction. Queenstown Road station will have no service and passengers should use other stations nearby. - Trains between London Waterloo and Reading will be diverted between Clapham Junction and Twickenham, calling at Wimbledon and Kingston.
Sunday 4 December No London Overground service between Surrey Quays and Clapham Junction. Rail replacement buses (Service M) will operate, calling at Canada Water, Surrey Quays, Queens Road Peckham, Peckham Rye, Denmark Hill, Clapham High Street, Wandsworth Road and Clapham Junction.
