There was significant disruption on South Western Railway services this Tuesday (29 May) afternoon after a tree fell onto tracks in the Kew Bridge area.

The Hounslow Loop which services Brentford and Chiswick was not operating and trains running from London Waterloo to Weybridge via Hounslow were diverted via Richmond, not calling at stations between Barnes and Feltham.

Delays continued into the evening with many train services at stations in the area cancelled, delayed or revised.

You may be entitled to compensation if you experienced delays due to this incident or any others on the network. Keep your train ticket and make a note of your journey, as both will be required to support any claim.
