Thames Lifeboats on Flood Alert

After warning of dangerous river conditions from Environment Agency

Thames lifeboats are on alert after an urgent warning about dangerous river conditions from the Environment Agency.

They have issued the following messages:

PLEASE DO NOT NAVIGATE - MOOR IN A SAFE PLACE, PREFERABLY IN A MARINA OR A RECOGNISED MOORING.

THE RIVER IS DANGEROUS AND UNPREDICTABLE WHEN IN FLOOD. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE ANY RISKS – PUT YOUR SAFETY FIRST
