Ravenscourt Park Paddling Pool Back in Action | |||
Online booking system in place to cope with demand during hot weather
The Ravenscourt Park paddling pool has re-opened after long-running repair works to its filtration system. Due to expected high demand during the hot weather only 30 children per session are being allowed in the pool for safety reasons and to maintain water quality. All bathers must be under eight years old. The council have created a sign-up page on Eventbrite. FREE 90-minute sessions are bookable for entry times at 10am, 11.45am, 1.30pm and 3.15pm. Ravenscourt Park is a 13-hectare open space in Hammersmith that also features play areas, sports facilities and a nearby garden centre. You can also find some shade thanks to the park’s 600 plus trees. To learn about some old, rare and new trees, follow the Tree Trail map created by the Friends of Ravenscourt Park and independent local estate agent Horton and Garton. The Bishops Park splash pad in Fulham remains closed due to issues with the mechanical water jet system.
