Lenny Kravitz to Headline at Gunnersbury Park |

'An outdoor concert of epic proportions' planned for August February 3, 2026 Lenny Kravitz will return to London next summer for a major outdoor show at Gunnersbury Park, with the four-time Grammy winner set to headline on Saturday 15 August. The date forms part of his global Lenny Kravitz Live 2026 tour and, based on current announcements, is the only UK performance he has confirmed for the year. The event is described by Ticketmaster as 'An outdoor concert of epic proportions’. The concert follows the success of Kravitz’s Blue Electric Light tour, which supported his 12th studio album of the same name. Known for hits such as Are You Gonna Go My Way?, Fly Away, American Woman and It Ain’t Over ’Til It’s Over, Kravitz has spent more than three decades blending rock, soul and funk in a career that has also included work as a producer, actor and designer. He will be joined in Gunnersbury Park by a line-up spanning soul, R&B and rock, including Leon Thomas, Joss Stone, Brooke Combe and De’wayne. Kravitz first broke through in the late 1980s and became one of the defining rock artists of the 1990s and early 2000s, winning four consecutive Grammys for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance. His live shows have remained a major draw, known for their high energy, extended musicianship and cross-generational appeal. The announcement comes as Gunnersbury Park continues to be a focal point in the debate over large-scale outdoor music events. In recent years, the park has hosted concerts by artists including Burna Boy, Jorja Smith and Rufus Wainwright, as well as multi-day festivals. While events generate significant revenue for the park’s upkeep, they have also prompted complaints from some residents about noise levels, crowd management, park closures and the cumulative impact of repeated large events during the summer. Local authorities and the Gunnersbury Park CIC, which manages the site, have repeatedly said that income from concerts is essential to maintaining the park without increasing public funding. However, community groups continue to call for stricter limits on the number and scale of events. Kravitz’s show is expected to be one of the park’s biggest draws of the 2026 season, with organisers anticipating high demand given the lack of other UK dates on the tour. Pre-registration for tickets is now open. General sale begins at 10am on Friday 6 February.
