Gunnersbury Park Mansion is to close until further notice and public programmes and school visits to the site have been suspended.

In making the announcement the Gunnersbury CIC said that the move was undertaken following government advice and that ‘we will continue to review the situation and will endeavour to re-open as soon as is possible.’

Gunnersbury Park will remain open 7 days a week for the community to exercise walk the dog and enjoy the spring flowers.

Benugo will also be keeping the cafe open for all visitors.

The CIC urged visitors to enjoy the Park responsibly, following Government guidance at all times.

On Wednesday 18 March parkrun announced that they would be suspending events nationally including the popular run in Gunnersbury Park which, before the outbreak, was attracting over 600 participants. Now an international organisation it has suspended all events globally at least until the end of March.
