Absconded Burglar Charged With Escaping From Custody & Robbery

he is suspected of three cases of robbery during his 7 days on the run

44 year old John Slavin of no fixed address will appear in custody at West London Magistrates Court tomorrow charged with three counts of robbery and escaping custody:

[1] Escaping from lawful custody at Springfield Hospital, SW17 on 18.11.08 where he & a fellow prisoner who also absconded were being assessed at the hospital for mental health conditions.

[2] Robbery at a bookshop, 123 Gloucester Rd, SW7 on 25.3.08

[3] Robbery at a bookshop, 123 Gloucester Rd, SW7 on 19.11.08

[4] Robbery at a clothes shop in Ledbury Rd, W11 on 21.11.08
