A Chiswick teenager appeared in court today charged with stabbing another boy outside Redlees Centre in Isleworth.
The incident took place at 16.47 on Wednesday 17th June at the entrance to Redlees Park behind Isleworth Library on Twickenham Road.

Officers and London Ambulance Service were called to the scene to discover a male, aged 15 years, suffering from several stab wounds to the upper body. He was taken to West Middlesex Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

The 14 year boy was arrested nearby. He was subsequently charged with wounding with intent, possession of a bladed article, possession of an offensive weapon and common assault.

Detective Sergeant Sarah Swift, Hounslow CID said, "The incident happened at quarter to five yesterday afternoon, a time when the park was busy. We are appealing to anyone who was in the area and may have seen anything to contact police so that we can piece together exactly what happened."

She added, "Following the stabbing the victim and his friends were assisted by a female. The woman, who was driving silver Renault Clio, stopped in Twickenham Rd to assist the group.
The victim and two of his friends got into her car and we believe she was going to drive the victim to hospital but when they saw a police car in South Street instead flagged down the officers. The driver of the vehicle then left as the officers dealt with the victim.

We would very much like this woman to contact Hounslow CID as she may have vital evidence to assist the investigation."

Anyone with any information should contact Hounslow CID on 0208 247 6160 or if you wish to remain anonymous Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
