Bollywood comes to Brentford

Age Concern to host a day of multi-cultural celebrations

Older people in Hounslow will stage a Bollywood-style performance as part of celebrations for Diwali and Eid.

A day-long event of activities takes place at Age Concern Hounslow, Alexandra House in Albany Road, Brentford on November 23 between 11am and 3pm

It begins with a discussion about the importance of these celebrations to the communities that celebrate them.

It will be followed by some entertainment from Berkeley Infants School in Heston and Age Concern’s own Bollywood group will be performing a routine of their own.

Attendees will enjoy an Asian buffet lunch, cultural games, Indian head massage and fireworks.

Tickets are priced at £1 and everyone is welcome.
