Local man killed after being run over by Nissan Sunny

Police are appealing for witnesses after a fatal collision in Acton.

At around 12.15am on Sunday 19th October a blue Nissan Sunny was travelling east on the A40 Western Avenue, near ‘Gypsy Corner’, when it was in collision with a pedestrian. The driver of the Nissan did not stop at the scene.

The victim, named as Karol Rzepka, was taken to Royal London Hospital where he died some hours later.

Mr Rzepka was 25 and lived close to the accident scene.

Inquiries are underway by officers from the Alperton Collision Investigation Unit - any witnesses are asked to contact the CIU on 020-8998 5319.
