A man has been killed following a hit and run incident on the Goldhawk Road. The incident happened on Friday December 28th at around 9am.

A 70 year old male pedestrian was in collision with a Peugeot hatchback between the junctions with Stamford Brook Road and Askew Road. The driver did not stop.

The man was taken to hospital but died a day later.

The vehicle is believed to be a grey-coloured Peugeot 205 hatchback. It will have frontal damage, possible windscreen damage and the right hand corner of the number plate is missing.

A 71 year old man has been arrested and bailed pending further enquiries.
