|Ten Pilates Open Day|
Great opportunity to try out innovative and results-driven Dynamic Pilates free of charge
We'd like to invite you to our Chiswick Studio Open Day on Saturday 16th May, from 12.00 to 5.00 pm. (If you haven't been before, we're in the Barley Mow Centre, just off Chiswick High Street - view map and directions).
Whether you're an existing client, new to TenPilates, or to Pilates in general, we promise you an interesting and enjoyable afternoon. (And naturally, everything's completely free.)
If you're new to us, we'd be delighted to introduce you to Dynamic Pilates, our innovative, results-driven and impressively effective technique. ('A fabulously buzzed-up style of Pilates that delivers aerobic benefits as well as sensationally swift body-shaping' - Evening Standard)
Like traditional Pilates, it's designed to strengthen and engage your core waist and lower back muscles, helping improve posture and prevent injury. But unlike traditional Pilates, it also delivers a full-body workout designed to give you a slimmer figure and lean, toned muscles. Fast.
At our Chiswick studio, we offer a mix of Reformer and Mat classes.
One of the most flexible pieces of equipment found in Pilates Studios, our Reformers are custom-designed to allow an almost unlimited range of exercises to be performed, enabling you to work every area of the body intensely and effectively.
Our Mat classes combine all the benefits of traditional mat-based Pilates, with the added dynamism and heart/lung conditioning of the TenPilates technique. Because it's floor-based, with only your own body weight for resistance, it's also ideal as an introduction to our technique, or for anyone with back problems.
If you'd like to try either for yourself - or get reacquainted with some of the techniques and key exercises if you haven't trained for a while - we'll be running a series of introductory classes throughout the afternoon.
But if you'd prefer something a little less strenuous, we'll also be offering Postural Analysis, a one-on-one 10-20 minute session that allows us to map your posture against where it should (and could) be, and to identify areas of weakness and potential injury.
We'll also be happy to talk about our Personal Training, Rehabilitation and Pre & Post Natal capabilities, and answer any questions you may have.
We'll be offering refreshments through the afternoon, courtesy of Sam's Brasserie, where we'll also be propping up the bar from 5.30 onwards if you'd like to join us for a drink.
We appreciate that you're stretched for time, particularly on a weekend, so please feel free to pop in whenever suits you. (The timetable below may be helpful.)
We hope you'll be able to join us on the 16th. If you'd like to bring a friend or two, they would be more than welcome, too.
Even if you can't make it, you might be interested to know that at TenPilates, there's no membership fee, and an introductory class costs from just £10.00.
