A man from Godoplphin Road in Shepherd's Bush has appeared in court in connection with 22 burglaries in West London.

The man, Allen Saxon, 38 appeared before Westminster Magistrates Court on January 14 where he was remanded in custody awaiting trial at Isleworth Crown Court.

Saxon was arrested the day before 13 by officers from Kensington and Chelsea Police.

They released a statement saying: " On Friday 13 January 2012 officers from Earls Court Safer Neighbourhoods team, working in partnership with detectives from Notting Hill CID, arrested a male in connection with a series of 22 burglaries committed in Kensington and Chelsea and surrounding boroughs.

" Mr Allen Saxon of Godolphin Road, W12 was taken into custody at Notting Hill Police Station where he was later charged by officers with conspiracy to commit burglary."
