The House of Bernarda Alba

Something Wicked Theatre, who have produced some of the finest productions of classical works at Barons Court Theatre including Federico Garcia Lorca's Blood Wedding and Yerma, are back in W14 this October, by popular demand.

Their production of Lorca's The House Of Bernarda Alba a couple of years ago was a sell out and many people were unable to purchase tickets for it.

In response to the huge demand for a new production of this Spanish masterpiece, Something Wicked have brought it back.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS PRODUCTION IS IN SPANISH.

The House of Bernarda Alba is on until October 23, Tuesdays to Saturdays 7.25pm, Sundays 6.45pm, with additional matinees Wednesday October 12 and 19 at 3pm.

Tickets: £14, £12 concessions

Rabbits

After hugely popular runs of The Last Days of Judas Iscariot and Breathing Corpses, KDC Theatre returns with another fortnight of simply staged and powerfully performed pieces.

KDC have been staging their highly praised productions at Barons Court for over 20 years now, building up large numbers of devoted followers in the process. Rabbit is a beautiful mix of comedic and more tragic, dramatic scenes – and is certain to provide the high standard of entertainment for which KDC is famed.

Rabbit was the debut play of writer Nina Raine and won her both the Evening Standard’s Charles Wintour Award and the Critics' Circle Theatre Award for Most Promising Playwright in 2006. The action centres around Bella, a single woman celebrating her 29th birthday with a dinner for a group of very different friends, including two of her exes. As the wine flows, the conversation becomes heated and a battle of the sexes commences. However, what most of the guests don’t know is that behind Bella’s bravado, she is struggling to cope with the fact that her father is dying from a brain tumour.

Rabbit runs from October 25 till October 29, Tuesday to Saturday at 7.30 p.m with additional Saturday Matinee at 2.30 p.m.
