A quiet local residential street seems to have become a favourite with Government ministers despite also been the home of notorious radical cleric Abu Hamza.

Recently it was revealed that he new Work and Pensions Minister John Hutton MP had moved into a house next door to the home of the controversial preacher. Now it has emerged that Environment Minister Ben Bradshaw also lives on the same street.

A report in the Evening Standard tells of how people became aware of the coincidence when Mr. Bradshaw, the MP for Exeter, and his party attended a party held by one of their neighbours. One resident related how John Hutton, was also at the party cracked jokes about life on 'old hooky street'.

The paper states that Mr. Bradshaw paid £730,000 for the end of terrace house rather more than the £550,000 Mr. Hutton reportedly paid for his home next door to Hamza's Council owned property.

Hamza currently resides in Belmarsh prison awaiting trial on charges of soliciting murder and stirring up racial hatred. The US authorities wish to extradite Hamza on terror charges The house is occupied by his wife and family who enjoy good relations with their other neighbours by all accounts.
