Forthcoming Disruption on Public Transport | |||
Tubes and trains services affected by engineering work
During the coronavirus outbreak if you do travel you should wear a face mask. TfL says this information changes frequently. Check before you travel. RMT STRIKE ACTION There is planned strike action every Friday and Saturday night between 20:30 and 04:29 the following morning from Friday 7 January until Sunday 19 June. If these strikes go ahead, Central and Victoria lines could be severely disrupted from 19:00 every Friday and Saturday, with little or no service through the night. Customers are advised to check before they travel and seek alternative routes where required. All other Tube lines will run their normal daytime services during these strikes, with the last Tubes in central London leaving around 01:00 and starting again at 05:30. Check your travel if you are using these lines before mid-morning on Saturday or Sundays Until Monday 10 January A reduced service will continue to operate on all routes until further notice owing to the significant ongoing impact of Coronavirus, particularly in terms of staff sickness. By reducing the service, Southern aim to provide more certainty over which trains will and will not run for those that are travelling and reduce unexpected cancellations. There will be no Southern or Gatwick Express services at London Victoria, Battersea Park, Clapham Junction or Wandsworth Common until Monday 10 January.
