stem4 received a cheque for over £3100
stem4, the award winning teenage mental health charity, has received a cheque from Wandsworth's Young’s Pubs who have chosen stem4 as their charity for the year. The cheque was for £3,164.25. The money raised came from Cake Bakes – done in every department within Young's HQ at Riverside West - as well a Quiz Night, hosted by the Marketing Department, and held at The Alma. Meanwhile Ramsay’s Restaurants, hosted by the Finance Department, held two sittings for one day only, at Riverside House. stem4 is a Wimbledon based, award winning charity that supports teenage mental health through mental health promotion, provides evidence based mental health education, builds resilience, enhances motivation to change and signposts to early intervention. stem4 focuses on commonly occurring mental health issues in teenagers including eating disorders, anxiety, depression, self-harm and addiction. The charity works with students, parents and teachers in secondary schools as well as health professionals, including GPs and school nurses, through their conferences and their digitally delivered workshops suitable for PHSE in schools and which is included in the Royal College of GP toolkit.
