Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after a man was shot in Isleworth.

Police were called by London Ambulance Service [LAS] to London Road, Isleworth at 1917hrs on Saturday, 9 February to reports of an injured male.

Officers attended. At the scene a male, no further details, was receiving treatment from medics for gunshot wounds.

The injured male was taken by LAS to a west London hospital. We await an update on his condition.

Officers from Hounslow CID investigate.

At this early stage officers retain an open mind concerning motive.

No arrests. Enquiries continue.
