Two people have been charged with handling stolen goods following an event held at Brentford Police station.

The police issued an appeal through this web site for residents of Chiswick, Brentford and Ealing who had recently been a victim of a burglary. They were invited to attend a display of goods that the police believed may have been stolen. Three of the people who attended recognised their property and this resulted in charges being made against those in whose possession it had been found. The people charged are now awaiting court proceedings.

Unfortunately the police attempted to contact all recent victims of burglary by post but unfortunately the letters were not delivered in time. Therefore have issued another appeal to anyone who has recently lost items of jewellery particularly in the Brentford or South Ealing area to contact PC Jo Batchelor on 0208 2475927.
