Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Ealing.

Police were called at around 9.55pm on Friday, 17th October to Northfield Avenue, W13 to reports of a beige Volkswagen Passat in collision with a Kawasaki motorbike.

The motorcyclist, a 21 year old man, was pronounced dead at scene. He has been named as Stuart MacPherson who lived in Greystoke Terrace in Ealing. As a boy Stuart attended Gunnersbury School. He was a longstanding member of Ealing Trailfinders Rugby Club and was working with his father as a carpenter whilst studying at college.

A 28 year old man, the driver of the Passat, initially failed to stop atthe scene. He returned to the scene and was arrested by officers. He has been bailed to return on a date in December.
