A 24-yr-old man from Acton has been arrested in connection with incident in which a 4 year old girl was hit by a van on a zebra crossing. The van , a white Ford Fiesta Courier, failed to stop leaving the girl in a critical condition. She is currently in a specialist unit in a central London hospital.

The incident took place on 13th December at around 3.30pm at Sutton Lane, Hounslow. The following day a man voluntarily attended a west London police station at 10.15am where he was arrested and then bailed to return later this month, pending further enquiries. The vehicle involved in the incident was recovered nearby.
