A police tactical support group van was involved with another vehicle on Old Oak road on Monday (10th October). The van, which was on its way to an emergency call was in collision with a grey Chrysler Grand Voyager at around 4.17pm at the junction near the Uxbridge Road. The police vehicle was travelling west along the Uxbridge Rd and the Chrysler was travelling south along Old Oak Rd.

There were 3 people in the Chrysler, 2 men and 1 woman. The male driver and the female passenger have been taken to Hospital but they are not believed to be suffering from serious injuries.

There were 7 male police officers in the carrier van including the driver. They have also been taken to hospital with what are believed to be non-serious injuries.

The incident led to road closures and severe traffic disruption in the area.
